Privacy policy — Abdulla Carpentry EST
How Abdulla Carpentry EST handles the information you give us through this website. Last updated 25 September 2026.
Who we are and what this privacy policy covers
Abdulla Carpentry EST, trading as ACE and operating this website at abdullacarpentryest.ae, is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this privacy policy. We are a fit out and renovation company established in Dubai in 1984.
Our office and workshop are at 32b Street, Ras Al Khor Industrial Area 2, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You can reach us by email at contact@abdullacarpentryest.ae or by phone and WhatsApp on 056-5608073.
This privacy policy is written to align with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, and with the data protection expectations of the clients, consultants and main contractors we work for.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need in order to quote and deliver work. In practice that is four things.
Enquiry and quotation form data. When you complete a contact or quotation form on this site we receive the name, phone number, email address and project description you type into it, along with the project type you select. Nothing on the form is mandatory beyond a way for us to reply to you.
WhatsApp and phone enquiries. If you contact us on WhatsApp or by phone we hold your number and the content of the conversation. WhatsApp is operated by Meta Platforms and messages you send through it are also processed under WhatsApp’s own terms, not only ours.
Site visit and project details. To survey and quote a property we record the address, the unit or villa number, dimensions, photographs of the existing condition and, where relevant, the landlord or developer contact required for an NOC. On commercial projects this extends to lease drawings and fit-out manuals you send us.
Technical and analytics data. Standard web data collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, time on page and the referring source. We do not ask for, and have no use for, government ID numbers, payment card numbers or bank details through this website.
How we use your information
We use the information above to respond to your enquiry, arrange a free site visit, prepare and issue a quotation, carry out the work you appoint us for, submit drawings and applications to Dubai Municipality, the relevant free zone authority or your developer, and to keep the records the UAE requires us to keep as a licensed contractor.
We also use aggregated analytics data to understand which pages people actually read, so we can improve them. That use is statistical, and we do not attempt to identify individual visitors from it.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it for anyone else’s marketing. We share it with third parties only where it is necessary to do the job — for example naming you as the client on a permit application, passing measurements to our own workshop, or giving a delivery contact to a supplier — or where a law or a court in the UAE requires us to.
Data retention
We keep enquiry and quotation records for up to two years from your last contact with us, so that we can pick up a conversation you return to and honour a price we quoted.
Records relating to work we actually carried out — contracts, drawings, permits, invoices and handover documents — are kept for five years after completion. That period reflects the commercial record-keeping and tax obligations that apply to a licensed contractor in the UAE, and it also protects you, because it is the period in which a warranty or a defect question is most likely to arise.
Analytics data is retained inside Google Analytics according to the retention setting on the property, after which Google deletes it. When a retention period ends we delete the records or anonymise them so they can no longer be linked to you.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-KMQK8X2FXX) to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and processes data on Google’s infrastructure under Google’s privacy policy. You can prevent it entirely with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser settings.
WordPress and our contact form plugin set a small number of functional cookies that keep the site working — for example remembering that a form was submitted so it is not sent twice. These are not used for advertising.
At the date below we do not run Google Ads remarketing tags, a Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager or Google reCAPTCHA on this website. If that changes, this privacy policy will be updated before those tools go live, and this section will name them.
Third-party services
The third-party services that can receive personal data in the normal course of our work are limited and listed here.
Google LLC — Google Analytics, as described above, and Google Search Console, which reports aggregated search queries without identifying individuals. Meta Platforms — only where you choose to contact us through WhatsApp. Our hosting provider — which stores this website and its form submissions on servers on our behalf.
Authorities and project parties — Dubai Municipality, Dubai Civil Defence, DEWA, DDA, Trakhees, free zone authorities, and your developer, owners association or landlord, where your project requires a permit, an NOC or an inspection in your name. We provide only what the application requires.
Our own trades and suppliers — the in-house teams and material suppliers who need a delivery address or a site contact to complete your job. We do not give them your data for any other purpose.
Your rights
Under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, you have rights over the personal data we hold about you. You can ask us to confirm what we hold and give you a copy of it; correct anything inaccurate or out of date; delete it, where we are not required to keep it for the record-keeping periods above; restrict or object to a particular use; and receive it in a portable, machine-readable format.
You can also withdraw consent at any time where our use rests on consent, and ask us to stop contacting you. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it, and it does not remove records we must keep for a project already carried out.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@abdullacarpentryest.ae with the request and enough detail for us to find your records. We respond within 30 days. There is no charge. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may raise the matter with the UAE Data Office through the UAE Government portal.
The sources behind this privacy policy
Everything stated above can be checked against the law itself and the published policies of the services we use.
Security
We keep your information on password-protected systems, limit access to the people who need it to do your job, and transmit this website over HTTPS. Quotation and project records are held in our office systems rather than shared publicly.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise. What we can tell you is that we do not collect payment card or bank details through this website at all, so there is nothing of that kind here to lose. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect your rights, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
Contact us
If you have a question about this privacy policy, about what we hold, or about anything on this page, contact us directly and a person will answer you.
